Each of the 14 rooms at the Residence Bassac has recently been tastefully renovated . Like its big sister in the north “Muang La Lodge”, Residence Bassac is more than a hotel project, it is a personal adventure initiated by a Franco-Lao couple.
The result of this work has created 2 categories of rooms:
- 10 deluxe rooms divided in 4 deluxe duplex rooms, 4 deluxe rooms with garden view and 2 deluxe rooms with Mekong view.
- 4 Superior rooms divided in 2 twins rooms and 2 double rooms.
The deluxe rooms on the ground floor on the Mekong side are elegantly decorated with tiles that give them a soft, bluish, cool feel. They each have a lounge, a street side terrace and access to our garden with the Mekong in the background. Upstairs, the two double superior rooms, on the Mekong side, and two twin superior rooms, overlooking the street, will welcome you in an atmosphere of wood and granite. The bright deluxe duplex rooms, ideal for families, have a pleasant lounge area and private bathrooms on each floor. The colors, combining wood with white walls, make the rooms elegant, intimate and bright. The spacious deluxe rooms have a bungalow-style with large living and sleeping areas and a bright en-suite bathroom. The contemporary design of the rooms has been used to enhance your comfort and privacy, borrowing a softness and tranquility where time seems to stop. Here you can indulge in serenity and relaxation. Each of our rooms is equipped with a comfortable sofa bed and you can choose between a bath or a shower, according to your preferences. On arrival, you can enjoy fresh local fruits and enjoy quality drinks. Our rooms all have the fragrance of sweet, essential oils for a truly peaceful night’s sleep.
The decoration of the rooms exudes a unique atmosphere in a modern style, using raw materials, ethnic fabrics and wooden sculptures from all of Laos. Our hotel adopts an approach emphasizing local know-how and expertise. Some of the handicrafts in our hotel can be specially ordered at your request such as, for example, the curtains and traditional dress of the staff that have been tailor-made by a local tailor. Most of the furniture, such as the beautiful chairs and sofa-beds in the rooms, were created by a French designer and fashioned by a carpenter from Champasak. Our luxury bedding is of impeccable comfort and all the equipment runs silently. Both the town and our hotel are idyllic places for reading, writing and relaxation.
